Carlos has worked on different films and documentaries garnering 5 Suncoast Chapter Emmy nominations, taking 3 statuettes to his home in Puerto Rico. His editing has been recognized in projects nominated for the Latin Grammy's, MTV, Cannes Lion,  and with the SXSW 2022 Global Audience Award.

Audiences worldwide have enjoyed his work in film festivals and can also be seen in projects streaming on Amazon’s Prime Video service and HBO. Carlos continues to prove his ability to flesh out the visions of a diverse project roster with his unique point of view from the editor’s chair.
 
Carlos’ academic background comes through with his depth of knowledge in the language of film and the visual arts. He has an undergraduate degree from the University of Puerto Rico, he continued on to obtain a Master’s Certificate in Editing from CICE in Madrid, Spain.
